Castlewood / Vineyard Tour & Tasting
By appointment, private Castlewood tours and tastings are available for groups of 6 persons or more.
We wander through the vineyards, learning of the trials and tribulations of growing grapes in east Devon. After enjoying the breath-taking views over the vineyards and across the Axe Valley. We then make our way down to our 150yr old cellar door at the farm for a guided wine tasting accompanied with local bread and cheese.
Tours and tastings usually take approximately 2 hours dependent on connoisseurs and questions!

Castlewood / Glebe House / WINE & DINE
Glebe House is an old Georgian Vicarage situated on a hilltop in East Devon. Good friends of Castlewood, Hugo and Olive pride themselves in their farm-to-table Restaurant and Guest House. Sourcing ingredients from their own small-holding and from friends and farming in the surrounding valleys.
We can offer a very unique Wine & Dine experience, suited to your personal needs. Offering a guided tour and tasting; picnic amongst the vines or even accommodation and supper at the beautifully renovated Glebe House.

Our friends over the hill at River Cottage HQ are just 2 miles as the crow flies, we thought it a great opportunity to combine our passions for local food and drink, artisan produce and the Axe Valley.
The Castlewood / River Cottage Wine & Dine is available throughout the summer. Whether it be a family gift or corporate day out; it certainly is an experience to take home with you. The dates listed are flexible and should you wish to make an independent booking for no less than a group of ten, we are more than happy discuss a date that suits you.
