Robin Wylde & Lilac Wine Bar
Robin Wylde began life as a pop-up in 2019, extensive refurbishment in 2020 of an old pottery shop has now lead to the restaurant becoming an enduring fixture in the Lyme Regis dining scene. Their tasting menu reflects the changes in the season, working with outstanding local food and drink producers. Showcasing in particular wines of minimal intervention and natural winemaking techniques. Locally sourced set menus are offered Thursday – Saturday, typically 9 courses with or without wine.
Lilac, their sister restaurant and wine bar specialises in small plates and boasts generous offering of by the glass wines including our skin contact and amphora aged Bacchus.
Coombeshead Farm
Set amongst 66 acres of meadows, woodland and oak-lined streams, Coombeshead Farm is a guesthouse and working farm offering glorious isolation and farmhouse comforts in the heart of Cornwall’s rural countryside.
With an emphasis on sustainability and zero waste, the team at Coombeshead go the extra mile to ensure little distance exists between the origins of ingredients and your plate. As much as possible is grown and reared on the farm, and for the rest, the restaurant work closely with a small network of farmers and growers.
We only have one Castlewood stockist in Cornwall, and we couldn’t be more proud that it’s Coombeshead.

The Pig Hotel
Pig At Combe. There’s a saying in Devon that ‘if you stick your finger in the ground it will grow’. Thanks to the Pig-at Combe’s location being 8 miles from the coast the menu consists of fresh fish as well as the very best Devonshire cheese and locally reared meat from butchers around the market town of Honiton. And thanks to the Pig at Combe being just 8 miles from Castlewood Vineyard, we are fortunate enough to make up part of their 25mile menu.
DORSET HOUSE B&B
Dorset House B&B is a haven by the sea where care and nourishment flow freely. Situated close to Lyme Regis town centre overlooking the glorious Jurassic coast. Lyn & Jason Martin, entranced by the delights of the area, left the corporate world to renovate the imposing Regency building. They have created a beautiful contemporary boutique B&B with five individually designed rooms, most with sea views.
Castlewood wines feature pride of place on the wine list of their welcoming Honesty Bar in the snug. Guests are encouraged to pop over for a vineyard tour and tasting to find out where the magic happens…
CHARLIE WALLER INSTITUTE
The Charlie Waller Institute (CWI) is a collaborative initiative between the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust, Reading University and Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. Every year at Castlewood Wine Festival we aim to raise money for our chosen Charity. We do this, not by shaking buckets and asking for donations but by contributions from our stall holders and as percentage of Castlewood bottles sold on the day.
There is no fee for any of the stalls attending Castlewood Wine Festival, just a donation if everyone feels they’ve had a good day. Over the last 6 years we have raised over £2000 for the Charlie Waller Institute, contributing towards ongoing training and research in evidence based psychological treatment, improving care for people suffering from depression.
