Wine tours

There will be three vineyard tours throughout the day, a great opportunity to learn a little more about how Castlewood Vineyard evolved and it trials and tribulations. Audience participation is very much encouraged and well rewarded!

Woodland & Vineyard walks

Festival goers are very much encouraged to explore the vineyards, and woodland. If feeling fit enough, there is a circular walk up to the Iron Age Fort, Musbury Castle. There are breath-taking views from the top, it’s worth taking a drink with you!

Wine Tasting

Wine tastings will take place on stage around 5pm. This is a great opportunity to sample some of the wines we have available, hear about the vineyards they come from, their production techniques and styles.

East Devon Forest School

East Devon Forest School is coming to Castlewood this year! Situated on the woodland walk between the two stages, come and say Hello to Zelda!

Zelda currently leads Forest School and outdoor learning sessions. Activities include, nature trails, mud kitchens, lighting fires, sawing and drilling, making kites, bows-and-arrows and learning about the water cycle.

Our woodland is an amazing playground for your children, if you’d like them to be booked onto an outdoor learning activity, be sure to put your name down when you arrive!
